  1. The number of wins;
  2. The best goal difference;
  3. The number of goals scored;
  4. The number of away wins*;
  5. The best away goal difference*;
  6. The number of goals scored away*;
  7. The result of a test match, with possible extra time and penalty shootout.

When in a period championship the number of matches played per club is unequal — for example due to an odd number of teams in the series — the period champion is determined as follows:
